Ashwagandha and thyroid medicines
Ashwagandha may raise thyroid hormone levels. That could add to levothyroxine, or work against antithyroid drugs.
Turmeric and blood thinners
One reported case of a raised INR, and lab data on liver enzymes. The evidence is thin, but blood thinners leave little margin.
Pippali, black pepper and phenytoin
Piperine raised phenytoin blood levels in three human studies. Phenytoin has a narrow safe range.
Karela and diabetes medicines
Karela may lower blood sugar a little. Taken with diabetes medicines, that adds a theoretical risk of low sugar.
